Important Information
Nail trimming and filing can only be done where dog permits it. A visit to the vet may be recommended for the procedure.
De-shedding requires special tools to remove any undercoat your dog may be shedding around the house. Shedding can be reduced by up to 70% but unfortunately cannot be prevented altogether.
Final cost is dependent on the complexity of the groom and how long it takes. Factors include matting, compacted undercoat, aggressive or excitable behaviour. The cost of grooming can differ from time to time depending on how long it has been since your last appointment. Regular appointments will save time and money and be less stressful for your dog.
Please note, if your dog is matted we may not be able to brush the matting out where it is severe and causes pain. Some dog’s may have to be clipped extremely short where matting is severe. Book your dog in for regular (6-8 weekly) grooming appointments to
prevent a matted coat and for healthy skin and coat care.

Let's Work Together

Under the Animal Welfare Act 2006, it is an offence to cause unnecessary suffering to an animal: this includes prolonged ‘de-matting’ which is painful
and stressful for dogs.
Matting can be prevented by daily brushing with a slicker brush and comb.
A matt free coat saves time and helps achieve the look you would like for your dog. Areas prone to matting are behind the ears, legs, armpits, chest, feet, belly and neck area. In extreme cases, the dog's coat will become what groomers call "pelted" — when matting is very tight to the skin, preventing proper airflow.
Matting often forms underneath your dog's collar or the parts of their chest and armpits where their walking harness rests. Remove their harness when they aren't on leash.
Poodles, Bichon Frisés, Cavachon's, Cockapoo’s, Cavapoo’s, Maltipoo’s and other long coated dogs require regular professional grooming.
If brushing is not something you can manage, keep your dog’s coat length short.
